Emmanuel’s Rally Day

Emmanuel members enjoyed a beautiful day at Henes Park in Menominee on September 10, 2017 when they celebrated Rally Day with an outdoor worship and a picnic.  Here are a few photos of this year’s event:

Emmanuel’s Tailgate Picnic

The church council hosted our third annual Tailgate Picnic on Sunday, October 1^st in the church parking lot.  It was a wonderful day filled with fellowship and awesome food!  Here are some glimpses of our event:

Emmanuel will be providing a “Trunk or Treat” on Tuesday, October 31^st, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the 13^th street parking lot. Neighborhood children and congregation children are welcome to trick or treat in our parking lot.  We are inviting any interested congregation members to join in the fun by hosting a “trunk”.  Host a trunk individually or join up with your family or friends!   Decorate your trunk in a non-scary Halloween or harvest theme and provide treats to the children as they trick or treat in our parking lot.  We hope you can join us in this safe and fun event for our children.  There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex if you are interested in participating.

2016 Youth Mission Trip
Leech Lake Indian Reservation – Cass Lake, Minnesota

Ten of Emmanuel’s youth participated in a mission trip to Leech Lake Indian Reservation July 5th-8th. Read about this amazing, faith-filled experience in the August Messenger newsletter found in this website under “Our Work – Events & Newsletters”.

Menominee Waterfront Festival 2016 Parade
Emmanuel’s “Growing in Faith” Float

On Sunday, August 7th, Emmanuel participated in the annual Waterfront Festival Parade.  With our theme “Growing in Faith”, we re-created the church’s Monarch garden complete with beautiful butterflies overhead.   Each of our congregation’s thumbprints adorned every butterfly that was on our float.   The float depicted our growing faith and our vibrant congregation!  Thank you to our float builders, members who decorated butterflies, those who walked with our float, and those who cheered us on!

Celebration and Fellowship
A celebration of Pastor Mark’s 1st Anniversary of his installation at Emmanuel was held on Sunday, June 26th, 2016 with a potluck following the 10:00 a.m. service. It was an event filled with thankfulness, joy, friendship, and great food!
